Exactly Frank.
The free lunch is on the handlebar end of the cable .......on the other end the stress is the same because it takes the same force to push the clutch push-rod it no matter how many rollers added to the clutch cable....ie......the same amount of work is required to disengage the clutch.....at the clutch.

To go a little deeper than a one syllable answer. :) The tension in
the cable is roughly half of what it would be with a convention cable
setup. The force on the clutch arm is the same. The wear and tear at
the clutch lever pivot is still there along with the need to keep it
clean, aligned, and the pivot lubricated.
