Larry.......be advised in the difference between these two adhesives.

Loctite 454 is a cyanoacrylate adhesive gel that eventually hardens to the point 
where it crystallizes and falls apart.

On the other hand, 3M Super Weatherstrip adhesive (yellow or black) firms to a 
very tough semi-solid does and lasts indefinitely.

Thanks to all who responded to my request for help with gluing the tank
pads. I ended up getting the Loctite 454 adhesive and the 3M adhesive,
aka "snot glue". I tested both on scrap material and both work really
well.

My preference at this time is for the Loctite 454. It's a bit more
expensive but it's clear and the set up time is very quick. If you use
the Loctite 454 you had better have the positioning right because it
firms up within 15-30 seconds and it's nearly dry by the 1 minute mark.
