I'm sure no expert on this level of repair...but I've got to think there's a qualified shop here in the US that can do this. Or perhaps an Owner's Club member here or someone on Britbike.com in the US has a source for a decent replacement...

Just a thought...

Hi Dan, It's for my 56 Norton 19S, The head has five broken fins, the exhaust threads are gone, the exhaust valve broke apart and trashed the combustion area, I've since cleaned that up and it looks good, but the it's in need of new valves and guides, One set of valve springs are longer than the other, the exhaust valve seat it like 1/4" farther into the head, It actually was hitting the valve cover inside, and the keeper it trashed, It can be repaired but it's easier to find another one, I think,,,,

  Todd
Just curious, what head (for what bike) is damaged and what is the damage?

No - this is not a commentary of Todd's mental state.

I just dont have his email, and wanted to send this info as a possible resource for the Norton head he mentioned at lunch yesterday. I know Ace Classics in London does a lot of restoration work on older bikes and may be a lead, at least.

Also - a couple of pics attached from the lunch ride up to the Riverview. Good turnout - nice, but a little chilly, day for a ride.
