Ride or trailer to Chris Owen's Cabins

345 Route 507, Tafton, Pa

 

On 507 pass Boat Shop sign on L

Turn LEFT on Fox RUN PRIVATE DRIVE red street sign

Take 1st gravel road turn R, sign says... Gabels crossing

Cabins will be on your left

 

 

3 Cabins on SLOPED terrain on 2 acres lake front property. 

Cliff for jumping, fire on cliff and watching the sunset. 3 Docks are floating tied together to make one area. The dock is always swaying back and forth, you will get wet, wear appropriate shoes. 

 

Cabins are Rustic 

Built in 1920, old school cabins slate floors, Furniture is used. It's a place to hang out with friends and enjoy a smoke, drink and a meal. Fire pit, horseshoes, screened in porch. No TV. Some internet available from close neighbors

 

Accommodations:

Cabin 1: 

2 Queen beds-2 sets bunk beds- 5 single beds – 1 couch. Rooms are tiny. 

There are bedroom doors. 2 full bathrooms.

2 refrigerators, coffee maker, full kitchen Cabin style etc.

 

Cabin 2:

1 Queen, 3 bunk beds, 1 single, 1.5 bathrooms. Table for 6 plus picnic table

on lake view deck. 

 

Things to do:

Ride around the lake 28.51 miles

Many restaurants/ Lake Wallenpaupack brewery

Oktoberfest that weekend The Alpine Village Honesdale, PA

 

Ride or trailer up Friday and ride back after breakfast on Sunday

 

We will provide all food and drink for the weekend.
