[dvnr] Amperage question, and gathering

Joe
I remember you telling me about the headlight problem just about the same time last year. I agree with Russ, solve the problem. Remember that on the MKIII there are two positive grounds (and two negative connections as well). There are the heavy leads for the starter and smaller leads for everything else. The long time debate is the fuse size. While many British bikes use a 35 amp fuse there has been a lot of debate about the comparison of the British 35 amp to the US 35 amp. I never worried about the difference but the "experts" say a US 25 would be equivalent to the British 35.
Are you using a Podtronics or similar type voltage regulator.
The "Gathering" is Sunday April 28.

Joe... Why not just solve the problem? Putting on band-aids will just prolong the agony at best.

Hi all.
Got my
answer.
I forgot there is the in line fuse
on the negative side already. 35 amp.
So
just need to duplicate this on positive side ( I can’t get
to the
existing fuse, too far buried when
battery is installed). I want to be able
to
just pull the cover, and pull a fuse to break the
circuit.
I’ll put a 35 or higher on this
side, to act as my jumper.
Still need date of gathering though. Trying
to make it this year.
