question about fuel petcocks

I have a question concerning the fuel petcocks on my 1995 R100RT.I want to swap them from each side to the other so they face rearward and not forward.Question is does anyone know what the torque is when tightening the collar nut or what ever its called that holds the petcocks in place ?I looked at a parts fiche from Max's and did not see a crush washer so i am guessing the filter screen and its associated base ring must me the crush washer or whatever forms a seal to keep the gas from dripping out.Any thoughts on that.Thanks in advance for your advice.
