time, just west of Philadelphia.

Please tell everyone who might be interested as there are more airhead
repair shops closing than opening, it is a real problem.

And please support him as he goes through the winter; bring your bike in
for work now. It was the wrong time of the year to open but the space
became available and he was ready to get set up and going.

He is very knowledgeable and personal. I have seen the quality of his work
and it is great.

Spread the word. Come spring it will be hard to get work completed on your
bike.

I put two strips of electrical tape across the top of my face shield. That
lets me tip my head slightly to block the roasting rays. If the tape is at
all bothersome later on, I just peel it off and stick it to the back of
the helmet until next time it is needed.

Hi all,

I picked up a 1977 R100/7 with a 1995 velorex 562 attached to it about a month ago. It runs but is the victim of the dreaded Previous Owner Syndrome. I like to call it a running basket case. I plan to go through it as I?ve done with my previous project ?Rusty?. The typical stuff like wheel bearing service, tire changes, fork overhaul, swing arm bearings... you get the picture. My question is would anyone like to be a part of the work? It would be more of a hangout and see as the parts are serviced? Sorta like a SpecTech as I make my way through the bike. I live 7 miles N of Easton, PA. I have a small one bay heated garage so this would be limited to 2-3 people tops. Anyone interested in hanging out and learning a thing or 2 on any of the jobs that have been mentioned?

Lenny, when I get into the front forks, I will keep you informed. That?s the second bike this week I?ve seen with a compressed front end like that. It makes me wonder if someone has shortened some component in the forks? I guess other than short springs,  someone could shorten the damping rod?

Terry, you?re in luck! You get first dibs on a spot. The tire change and wheel bearing service are first on my list of repairs. I?m waiting for the tires to come and then I will commence. I?ll let you know when I have them and we can settle on a day. I?m off Fridays as I work 4-10s now.

Hi all,

I picked up a 1977 R100/7 with a 1995 velorex 562 attached to it about a month ago. It runs but is the victim of the dreaded Previous Owner Syndrome. I like to call it a running basket case. I plan to go through it as I?ve done with my previous project ?Rusty?. The typical stuff like wheel bearing service, tire changes, fork overhaul, swing arm bearings... you get the picture. My question is would anyone like to be a part of the work? It would be more of a hangout and see as the parts are serviced? Sorta like a SpecTech as I make my way through the bike. I live 7 miles N of Easton, PA. I have a small one bay heated garage so this would be limited to 2-3 people tops. Anyone interested in hanging out and learning a thing or 2 on any of the jobs that have been mentioned?

 Thanks to the person who posted the Ringing Rocks county park.? I was able to go (packed a hammer) last wk (solo trip from Hershey area) and that was interesting.? Afterwards, I dropped down to the Delaware River, and again, hadn't realized that there was a canal / recreation area along it.? Due to family obligations, Sundays are out, but I've enjoyed checking these 'one can' rendezvous spots later. Thanks

28" L X 32" W X 30" H; utilizes frame-to-engine thru-studs to support all the work: chain case, heads/slugs/jugs, clutch/flywheel, starter to oil pan, all are easily accessed. Addition of other major and minor components, just as easy ! Combination tool tray and catch pan shelf mid-height; 'floating' rubber pads backed with steel plates, keep it in place...

Hiyah Bruce... it's your's !

There are two(2) attachments that come with it, to support the swing arm (less the bevel drive) so it doesn't get scratched from bottoming-out against the silencer mounts.

I designed and built it from materials I had on hand; cost just a few cubic feet of oxy/acet gases & a stick of rod; takes up far less space than a lift; you can even load a bike into it for the teardown phase !

Pretty sure you'll enjoy it as much as I have, over several restorations !

I have a nice set of Krausers that I've had stored for a few years.? 
Overall, they are in good to very good condition.? There are some minor 
surface cracks on the outside that do not penetrate into the interior.? 
There is one repair inside that was done years ago and is holding up 
well.? Have the original Krauser stickers on the outside and the 
stickers inside.? All the straps are in place and work.? To top it off 
even have keys.? The lid locks work well but the tongue latches don't 
seem to work even with the matching key.

Price is $125 firm picked up or $175 shipped east of the Mississippi River.
