First pass was 80 grit sand paper; removed the casting 'nub' at the top. Couple passes with 200 grit automotive grade paper; 320 grit followed and this is first pass with P500 grit...

Probably hit it again with the loose cotton flannel buff, to bring out the more 'color'. Then, "repeat as required until satisfaction is achieved" on the other one !
