I recently remember years ago someone who later became an Airmarshal offered to do Airstore. Are you still interested or can an Airmarshal find a voluteer or (volunteers) willing to become Airstore's manager. Dave has sold his house and is living out of his RV while travelling around the country. He really wants and the club needs to replace him. So I am hoping One of you can find a volunteer. No need for that person to be an Airmarshal, just be someone who is reliable and who might have some ability at merchandising. I am copying Dave with this airmail if someone wants to communicate with him over what the job entails. Reply to him. One reason why we have had some difficulty replacing Dave is that a few states do not exempt non profits from paying sales taxes. We are hoping to find someone in a tax free state so as not to have to file returns and pay a sales tax. I can tell anyo! ne if their state qualifies. A partial list of states which impose a sales tax on non profits are California, Nevada, Tennessee, and Florida. So please see if we can come up with a volunteer. Dave Rankine Nv Airmarshal. BUT, it does not quickly settle down to idle. Spins up pretty fast and slowly sags down to idle. I may have a carb issue (I took apart and carefully cleaned, blew air through everything, and insured the slide moves freely.). Yet the air screw is all the way IN to get the motor to idle. I know this is not correct. Havent solved the problem. I have removed the advance unit. Weights move freely and close quickly. Yet, I wonder if the tiny springs are weak, thus not bringing the weights all the way in thus keeping some amount of advance. Here's the questions: Ideas regarding the carb issue? suggestions? Is there a trick to getting those tiny springs off, and then replacing with new OEM springs? My phone is : 717 229 2840 Am located in Hanover,PA.? Any help is much appreciated. And kudos for Supertech. Well done. Did you open up what Bing refers to a an accelerator pump? After going through a few late R27 carbs, I have not seen one that the pump is not beat. I use dental picks or equivalents in a large zip lock bag for deli cut spring work. E-mail me directly if you want to chat. Mice will store as much as they can for their planned babies. and then they will chew the wires around where they store them. Cure for mice in sheds and carports: Buy a small bottle of Peppermint Oil and mix five drops per one liter of hot water in a spray bottle. Spray all around baseboards and openings (doors, under sinks where pipes come up, etc.) That improves your odds of having a mouse nest-free BMW. Remember that bike I made the video about a few days ago? That bike had about a pound of rice and wildflower mix down around the stator and beancan. The mice totally consumed the wiring harness from the beancan to the plug. Five years later. I bought that bike and it was once again infested with mouse nests, and stank of mold and mouse urine. I don't usually name my bikes. y Mdaughter handles that chore. She called that GS "Stinko." That's what I'm going to call her firstborn. If you rewire the bike with 20 awg wire you won?t have that problem .JUST KIDDING !! Fortunately, I don?t have birdseed in the shed ,but I do use moth balls on the floor to keep the little pests outdoors. I do like the peppermint oil idea, I wonder what a peppermint schnapps spray bottle treatment would do to the little bastards.
