Van Sant Airport Access

I've been to Van Sant Airport numerous times on Sundays for years and have
never experienced access issues.
Access has been always very easy and is as follows:
Pull into the short access road/driveway for the airport, go maybe 50
yards, park on the left side of the road, you might have to pick out a spot
amongst cars and motorcycles, it's never been an issue at all for myself
and others I have been with.
Enjoy any take off or landing planes as you ride along the road :-) perhaps
you will see a biplane or a plane pulling up a glider :-) on the grass
strip. The place has an atmosphere of an old timey airport, only a few
people store their planes there.
I have not been there in a year or two, perhaps things have changed in that
time, but I doubt it. It is owed by the local county and rented to folks
who like to pursue flying.
