OT/Disinfecting Surfaces is 'Hygiene Theater'

Forgive me...I’m new to this group and Airheads.

My purpose for joining was to learn more about these great machines. I rode
my 1978 RS / Golden Cow out East last year and met some of you at the 40th
GS celebration.
What a fantastic time seeing these beautiful machines and have the
opportunity to chat with folks from all walks of life whom share this same
passion.


In my professional life, I happily work as a ICU physician in a large
academic setting.
These past 6 months have been the most challenging of my career.

 Caring for any patient including those in our COVID unit is a privilege
not sacrifice. The greatest challenge/risk of burnout - for myself and many
others is the politicalization of this virus.

For me, aside from my immediate family these Airheads are my escape.
The very last thing I want to see post-call when I open my email is COVID
related material.

Please stay on point.
