Mac is right.

With factory BMW cable there's is approx twice the transmission clutch lever travel.
When the EZ clutch installed it reduces this travel by 1/2 so the clutch is fully disengaged when the handlebar lever is pulled in.

I have two EZ clutch cables that work have worked perfectly.  One for 30+ yrs.....the other for 8 yrs..

Ducdude, what you assert has not been my or many others experience at all. There actually is plenty of disengagement, clutch and gear disengagement has been discussed at length with Reg Pridmore at many CLASS courses as he discusses proper shifting techniques and application of the clutch and clutch lever at length at all his classes.
Call and ask Vech at Bench Mark Works and see if he  agrees with your logic and your assertion.
I do not agree with you, but my mileage may vary.

You logic is not quite sound Mac, Reduced effort means reduced throw at the thrust bearing means you do not have the optimal disengagement of the clutch with this toy.  The Distance the leaver moves does not change but the throw at the other end does that is why it is easier.
