Snuffy Smith was a well liked local motorcycle racer. He, Jack Denton (West
Chester) and one other person whose name escapes me, started the Turkey Pro
National as something just "to do". They would go from each others' homes
in turn, sometimes yearly changing the sequence, then they started visiting
other places for more diversity (my home was a destination once), and so it
went.

He passed away maybe 10 or 12 or so years ago.
