[PAAirheads] Low Mileage R100S For Sale

Offering up to the group first the 1978 R100S that I just finished.  
Bike had sat for over 10 years covered in a garage. This is a matching 
numbers original R100S with 18,2xx original miles.  The body work 
including the S fairing was replaced with identical parts previously 
painted in Gloss Black with blue pinstripes.  No damage on any of the 
body pieces.  Nicknamed the bike the Black Knight.   For obvious 
reasons.  Everything on the bike is either black, blue accent, or silver.

For anyone in the group that might be interested the price is $4300 and 
that's firm.  If no interest in the group will go up on Craigslist for 
considerably more.  May consider trade for other Airhead needing work 
and refreshing as partial payment.  Picture or two available now and 
will post a complete set to a shared album in the next few days.

New Parts:

Exhaust pipes, rider peg rubbers and shifter rubber, front brake pads, 
clutch plate and compression plate, rear main seal and oil pump seal, 
Dyna electronic ignition, K&N air filter, rear master cylinder, front 
and rear tires, stainless steel brake lines front and rear, mirrors, 
grips and handlebars, MRA tinted windscreen, fork legs, seat, re-usable 
fuel filters, and VDO gauges in fairing (original gauges were shot).

Main Work Done:

Engine cylinders pulled and honed, heads blasted and valves lapped and 
reseated, timing chain inspected, diode board replaced, install new 
seals where needed, install new clutch pieces, all fluids refreshed, 
front master cylinder rebuilt, front forks rebuilt, 40mm carbs rebuilt, 
front and rear calipers disassembled and cleaned ( seals good), replaced 
center stand, and new seals in rear drive.  Bike was stripped down to 
the frame, frame touched up with epoxy paint, and then re-assembled.

Non-Stock Items:

The seat (74 R90S seat pattern), Marzocchi shocks, custom side stand, 
MRA tinted windscreen, dual plugged with Dyna coils, and of course the 
paint job.

All this bike needs is a new owner.
