Dear Larry Mansfield,

Thank you for your continued support of Mr. Metric.  After more than 35 
years in the specialty metric fastener business, we’ve decided to close 
the operation.  Mr. Metric has operated as a department within Mountz, 
Inc. since its acquisition. Please note - Mountz, Inc., is not closing 
operations. In fact and quite to the contrary, we are expanding, and 
discontinuing our metric products business is a strategic decision.

I’d like to let you know our time line so you have ample time to secure 
alternate supply.

No orders for inventory will be issued by Mr. Metric. All sales will be 
satisfied from existing inventories or purchased from our suppliers to 
fulfill that specific demand. Lead-times for fulfillment will be 
dictated by our supply chain.

2/28/18

		

Walk-up retail window at 1080 N. 11th St., San Jose will cease operations.

Will-call pick-up will occur at the front desk of Mountz, Inc.

5/1/18

		

Last day for our customers to place orders for product not in stock.

5/31/18

		

Last day any orders will be accepted.

6/15/18

		

Last day for will-call pick-up.

We have also prepared a select list of the inventory we have on hand.  
We welcome any bids to purchase this inventory. This list can be
