Hello Bob,

The starting and ending location will be in Harleysville, Montgomery County, PA.  So I guess I will have to contact USCRA if I plan on sanctioning this event?  It’s funny that you mentioned a 305cc class, I didn’t even know that was an official class, so that’s good.  I was initially planning this as a fun event, something our riding group has never done before here or anywhere in this region as far as I can tell.  I will investigate and study the rules and do my best to have this an official sanctioned event if possible.

 

With all of your experience, I may have to lean on you for guidance as I plan this event,  I hope you would be willing to give me some suggestions.

 

I will be very busy the weekend of Sept. 8th, 9th with the Simeone Museum and Radnor Hunt Concours d’Elegance Show, but I will pass on your email to all others on various mail lists, so that they know about the your Giro eligible bikes you have available.

 

Please read Bob’s posting below regarding his involvement in previous Giro events, the upcoming event Sept 9th at Spencer, MA  and take note of some Giro eligible motorbikes he has available for those who may have an interest.  If this all goes well and I hope it does, I plan on making this an annual event.

        What would be the location of your event? The USCRA has been holding Giro's in New England for many years. They have a Yahoo Group you can sort through for info. I have two class wins in 0-65cc, 2 class wins in Scooter, 1 class win in 125cc, and 1 class win in 305cc. If anyone is looking for a Giro bike, Rice-o-Rama is Sept 9 at the spencer, MA fairgrounds. I'll be bringing several Giro eligible bikes to sell; a '66 Bridgestone B50s, a '72 Honda CT70, and a '74 Vespa 150 Super. They will all come with New Hampshire Registrations.
