For those wondering what this cryptic link is from RDS - it's a link to 
booking on line to go try out HD's new "adventure" bike.

It's actually a really pretty interesting new bike since aside from it 
being a V design engine there appears to be very little HD about it.  
Decent suspension, brakes, transmission. Handles, and has a cool thing 
where when it's coming to a stop the suspension drops 1.5" so tootsies 
may be able to touch the ground.  I didn't notice if it had a 
centerstand, but I'm sure HD will have a wealth of accessories for it.  
It's been getting surprisingly (to me) positive reviews in the cycle 
press so it might be worth a look-see.  Didn't say if it's built with 
metric or SAE fasteners.. if it's metric you can be sure HD is pretty 
serious about moving their company out of the stone ages.

HD is loading up a truck with all the competition (BMW, KTM, Ducati) and 
their bike and offering rides on the different bikes to demonstrate 
theirs is better.  To do this - you have to sign up. And that's what the 
link is for.

The closest I saw on the signup was Anthracite Outdoor Adventure Area in 
Coal Township PA.  Just the names of the places brings images to my 
mind..  that one is in August.  They have nothing for the tri-state 
NY/NJ/CT area yet. They said that will be announced at a later date.
