To satisfy my curiosity I contacted Shore Catering to explore the costs for our event. Their barbecue menu which would provide hot dogs, hamburgers, fried chicken, three salads, baked beans and etc. would cost about $33 per person. It would not cover soft drinks. 
A fifty  rider turn-out would cost around $1600 which would empty our treasury. 
But it’s just money after all.
