I should have thought of this sooner.

If you're sitting around moping that you can't
attend the regular Moribundi Lunch (the social
highlight of each month, for sure), then why not
join me in a Zoom meeting from your home (or
wherever you're "sheltering in place").

Install the zoom app on your smartphone OR
go to zoom.us and install the zoom client on
your laptop (assuming it has camera and microphone).

You may want to create a free Zoom account, although
I don't think this is necessary to join a meeting.
But it does allow you to create your own meetings.

At 12:30, open the zoom app or zoom client, click on
"Join", and enter this magic number:

627 923 1844

You'll have to click a button that says "join meeting with
audio" or similar, but eventually, you should see myself
and anybody else who has joined the meeting.

We can all chit chat for 40 minutes for free before zoom
kicks us off (unless they don't -- if demand is low, they
don't).

PLEASE EMAIL the list if you intend to do this.  That way
I and others will know there's some interest.
