Kevin, et. al..
The WaWa is on "Monmouth Road" - AKA Country Rt 537, just to the west of
Exit 16 off I-195. Between the exit and Great Adventure.
The reason many rides start there is - it's pretty much centrally
located to our membership distribution; it's also easy to come up with
some fairly decent back-roads routes to places like Cherry Hill and
Chris' motor-bicycle collection. And there is food, fuel and a place to
pee there.
While I-195/I-295 may seem faster and more direct, that has never been
my goal when riding. If I really need to get somewhere quickly and
efficiently - the car is a much better choice.
If anyone want's I can probably come up with a Garmin route from OurWAWA
to Chris' museum.. it would be uploadable to most all Garmin GPS's (and
BMW's GPS's).
