Graciously hosted by Tom Spader, the picnic is at 206 Washington Ave., Point Pleasant Beach. Capt. Mike is chief purchaser and chef. The club provides food and soft drinks. If you prefer an adult beverage, bring it with you.
In a departure from the past, members will be bringing various dishes to supplement and perhaps supplant Chef Mike’s delights. I suspect a culinary festival may result.
Twenty-five members and partners are expected to attend. Around half that number are bringing food.
