DVNR's...

So...my new copy of Motorcycle Classics shows up on Friday...and there's an enthusiastic review by Alan Cathcart of the pre-production Norton Atlas Nomad (standard) and Ranger (scrambler) 650 twins.
He begins the article: "Norton's decade-long ride down the comeback trail under the ownership of Stuart Garner is now reaching fruition."
Not sure if administration (aka UK bankruptcy...) and potential liquidation...not to mention criminal charges...was the "fruition" that Mr Cathcart was referring to. But in his defense he indicates in the article that it was written in late fall 2019...before the first shoe dropped.

But he liked the bikes!
UK engineering combined with Chinese (Zongshen) engine component manufacture.
A bit pricy though...nothing to compete with a quite functional and enjoyable RE at their price point...or a Hinkley Triumph.

Which again leads one to wonder...is the product itself worth saving?
The plans, tooling, assembly line, investment...etc...?
It would take the right person or group...with the right financing...

All tbd I guess...
