2020 DVNR Pete Gallo High Mileage Award

DVNR Ladies and Gentlemen,

It's that time of year.  Please send me your ending mileage for 2020 for
the Pete Gallo High Mileage Award.  While it's certainly been a year unlike
any other, hopefully many club members were able to enjoy some miles on
their Nortons.

As the award is handed over to the new winner at the Christmas Party which
isn't happening this year, as the 2019 winner, I'll make arrangements to
coordinate the transfer- if necessary.  :)

2018 winner Brian Safer did us all a service by setting up a spreadsheet to
record the beginning and ending mileage so the record keeping is quite easy
and transferable.  As you recall, the club now looks at mileage on an
annual basis for your total number of Nortons.  I.e. your ending mileage
last year is your beginning mileage this year.  There are 17 names on the
list from 2019, some of whom didn't give Brian their ending mileage, so I
don't have a 2020 beginning value.  Even if you didn't ride much (or at all
this year) send me your mileage as it'll serve as your 2021 start.

So all I need is the number of miles you have on your Norton(s) to update
the records and determine the new winner.  Please send me your mileage as a

As an incentive to the club, it's my understanding that if we get 17 or
more members on the books for the 2021 mileage contest, Dan Sellers and
Brian Safer will sing duets of Donna Summer songs at a 2021 club meeting
when we're able to have them again.  I'll find a Karaoke machine.
