Last Chance - DVNR August Meeting and Weekend at the Lake

DVNR Members Hoping for a Better Offer,

If you don't have plans for this weekend...or need an alternative to
visiting Aunt Tilda and Uncle Lou...this is your last chance to sign up for
DVNR's weekend at Lake Wallenpaupack.

Here's what's up. The final count goes to Chris and Heidi Owen, our weekend
hosts tomorrow at 9AM. You must notify Dan Sellers now if you plan to
attend or there will be no ribs for you. Email Treasurer Dan at
dansellers45 at gmail.com and tell him your arrival and departure days. Friday
to Saturday or Saturday to Sunday or the whole enchilada. You will then
receive the critical, last mile directions to our weekend retreat. Chris
and Heidi are thrilled that the DVNR crew gets to enjoy their lakefront
property. They are doing all the shopping and cooking for us. All they
asked us to do is get them a final count. Email Dan now. We still have
plenty of room.

Just think of the possibilities...
You can't be reached by phone or email...there is no Internet service
lakefront!
You have the opportunity to meet that Pocono beauty at Wallenpaupack
Brewery or Pat's Bar & Grill in Hawley
You can ride around the lake clockwise and anti-clockwise
You can enjoy the last of the Summer while welcoming Fall - There is an
Oktoberfest celebration nearby this weekend
You can sit around the fire pit. When you get energetic, you can toss a
horseshoe or two
You can sit by the water, on the water on in the water and watch the sun
come up and go down.
You can take a ride to the Tunkhannock Creek Viaduct
You can do absolutely nothing and simply enjoy the woods, lake and
camaraderie

You've got to act now or you are out. Going to be a good one...do not miss
the possibilities.
