[dvnr] neck bearings

Just wondering if anyone else has used the new roller bearings on a Norton and noticed the space between the frame and the top surface of the bottom yoke.I can see the bottom of the bearing,the space is now aprox 3/16 of an inch.On my other 70 it is aprox 1/16.I am thinking there should be some kind if seal to keep the weather out of the bearing.Maybe someone has an idea.Thanks,Bob
