Gas tank

Hi Folks,

I hope everyone is safe and well.

A guy who worked on the tank of my Bumble Bee GS made a real mess of it.  He apparently did little or no prep before pouring in the sealant.  The sealant is now coming off in big chunks and the rust is even getting through the inline fuel filters.

I’d hate to loose the original paint on this tank.  Can you give me any guidance on how to get the old sealant out?  I’ve tried a piece of it and it appears to be impervious to MEK.

Any help would be appreciated.
