Looking to get back to where I was happiest with a classic Airhead.
My ideal bike is an LWB R75/5 in black with a large tank but the right deal
on a Toaster or other good bike close to my ideal machine would definitely
be considered. Doesn't have to be a garage queen or total restoration
(which I can't afford). I can handle some cleanup and minor work but not a
major project. Fly and ride isn't appealing during Covid Days so a location
that allows me to drive to you with a trailer and return to Philadelphia,
PA in one day is probably best. I have a super well equipped 2013 F700GS
that could be part of the discussion if it is of interest. Let me know how
close you can come to my dream machine. Pictures, price, and maintenance
history would. be a big help. If you know of one off-list somewhere or any

Subject: Super Well Equipped F700GS for Sale

This is a terrific bike with high-end upgrades that make it a truly
outstanding dual-sport machine. Only selling it because I am 77 years old
and bought a 1975 R90/6 that reminds me of my younger days.

The GS is in excellent shape and runs perfectly. I drove it 300 miles in
seven hours when I went to buy my R90.

9,872 miles on the odometer. Rear tire has less than 1,500 miles on it.
Front tire is very good. Some scratches on the BarkBusters and a few small
chips in the paint on one side panel. Mostly the bike is pristine. The
attached list of upgrades tells the tale of a bike that was cared for and
designed for riding.

The lowered progressive springs make it easy for me at [UTF-8?]5???9??? to plant both
feet. (Original springs included.) The Camel Tank adds 7 liters of
traveling fuel and the Touratech Aluminum Panniers hold more than you need.
Corbin seat is comfy all day long. Lots of skid plates and protectors for
off-road adventuring.

Bike has always been garaged and is available for inspection in

I have pair of Jesse hard bags to sell complete with all hardware to fit
R100GS from 89-95. Maybe others as well. The bags are in perfect condition.

Also a pair of mufflers of my 1971 R75-5. Used but in fair condition. Some
rattling from the left hand baffles. No holes or rust. Some scratches and
rock chips. $100.00.

Just wanted to send it locally before going National. Just one picture of
each attached. Many more available.

Fellow Airheads,

This has not been an easy decision to make, but we have decided to cancel
the Last Days of Summer Rally this year.  This year would have been our 8th
year hosting the event and it has been one of my favorite weekends of the
year since our first gathering.

Inthe end, we simply did not want to be responsible for hosting an event
that in good years has brought as many as 70 riders stretching up and down
the East Coast from North Carolina to Massachusetts.

Spread the word as Airheads.org is in the middle of an upgrade and I will
not be able to cancel the event on the WhAIR and When calendar until
September 7th...

We will do it again next year.

Bike has excellent paint, dual disc conversion, period lester wheels (but I have the original snowflake wheels), tool kit, working clock and voltmeter, Corbin seat, charging/power outlet and luggage. I will include the original seat as well as a spare powder coated seat pan as well as a ton of spare parts, manuals and accessories. Bike is located in Petersburg, NY
