This is a good place with the standard bar menu. Never great, but usually pretty good.

To satisfy my curiosity I contacted Shore Catering to explore the costs for our event. Their barbecue menu which would provide hot dogs, hamburgers, fried chicken, three salads, baked beans and etc. would cost about $33 per person. It would not cover soft drinks. 
A fifty  rider turn-out would cost around $1600 which would empty our treasury. 
But it?s just money after all.

Hey NJ South Beemers,
I can?t go on a ride tomorrow because I have to work. (Plus there is a threat of rain)

But I?m thinking of going on a nice ride on Sunday.  northwestern Loop back roads,  haven?t decided which one but I have a couple of GPX routes I?m considering  
Probably meet at Cheesequake rest area 930 or 10 AM KSU. 

Probably 2 1/2 hours of riding.  
Then lunch, after that anybody can decide to backroads loopback  or slab it home if you?d like.

Wendy from the Crystal Brook German Resort contacted me today about our 
sort-of-reserved date in September for our annual Oktoberfest.

She would like to get a feel of the level of interest since she is being 
asked for rooms by people who are not Oktoberfest/NJS participants.? 
Right now she's saving rooms for us.

I inquired as to the B&B rates, and they are as follows:

Couple - $130/night charge, $120/night cash.

Single: $80/night charge, $70/night cash.

Rooms are:? single (double-bed usually); twin-double-beds; single king-bed.

The price includes lodging and breakfast two mornings (which is ample) - 
dinner can be had at the Bauhaus on the grounds along with excellent 
German beers and entertainment Friday and Saturday evenings.? Dinner is 
pay for what you have.

Please give me some idea of your interest..?? the area has lots of great 
scenic rides and historic sites to visit, making it an excellent couples 
event. We also have singles show up and they always seem to enjoy 
themselves. It's also a case of the more the merrier... as more club 
members join the fun the fun becomes even more fun.? Let me know if 
you're interested.
