I'm hooked up with a private school that is "getting rid" of approximately 100 HP Chromebooks. Model is 11-p010nr so you can Google the specs, but the short version is: Intel CPU, 32G solid state drive, I assume ChromeOS. NOTE: These are NOT running Windows. So they're different. You'll have to adapt a tiny bit from what you're used to. But they're SUPER CHEAP. We've offered the school $10 each for these. Yes, $10. I will sell them at cost. I just want to save them from the landfill. This summer the same school put a bunch of recent laptops in a dumpster, which I didn't find out about until later. I have gotten laptops from them before at similar prices, but never in enough quantity that it was challenging to get rid of them. Once I have the units, you can pick the unit(s) up from me at the club meeting, or arrange another time and place if you can't make a club meeting. Email me off list if interested. wfdudley at gmail.com -- Bill Dudley From jmnaghski at yahoo.com Thu Oct 4 09:59:58 2018 From: jmnaghski at yahoo.com (Joseph Naghski) Date: Thu, 4 Oct 2018 09:59:58 -0400 Subject: [NJSBMWR] OFF TOPIC: cheap laptops available In-Reply-To: References: Message-ID: Looks like a good deal. Parts that could go bad: screen, keyboard, battery, power supply, motherboard. But for 10 bucks, who cares. Mike Sent from my iPhone > On Oct 3, 2018, at 8:28 PM, William F. A form can be found at: https://www.njsbmwr.org/Membership/application.html Some fields on the form are required (name for instance) and some are optional. If nothing has changed since last year - you can skip the optional (I think.) Payment is made via PayPal - and a fee of $1 is added to the membership to cover the PayPal "vig" (as Jerry Schreiber) described it.? You do NOT have to be a PayPal member to pay - you can simply use them as a credit-card processor. Thank Bill D for making life more convenient for you! NOTE: If you joined within the past month and paid full freight - your membership will be extended to include 2019.? Bill Dudley -------- Forwarded Message -------- Subject: [NJairheads] Diner Day Date: Tue, 23 Oct 2018 18:37:56 -0400 From: David Cushing via NJairheads Reply-To: for New Jersey Airhead BMW owners To: SKYLANDSNJBMWRIDERS at yahoogroups.com CC: David Cushing , skylandsbmwriders at groups.io, paairheads at mail.casano.com, njairheads at casano.com Get on your horse a week from Saturday (Nov 3) and ride to the Boyertown Museum in Boyertown, PA for Diner Day! Hours are 10-1. This is where you can enjoy a slice of pie for 25 cents and a coffee for 10 cents in the Diner inside the museum. Entry fee is $8 & you will see some WWII vehicles in the foyer and a great selection of vehicles in the museum. Where else can you be a cheap date!!!! I took Ellen earlier this year and I spent a whopping 60 cents. The food is provided by several bakeries in the area. If that was not enough, you can stop at Longacre's & choose ice cream among 30+ flavors - all made there. You may need to crank the shocks up a notch when you are done.
