Kat, I met you at the BMW RA National Rally in Wellsboro PA where you graciously walked me though installation of your KATDASH /6 kit. I am thrilled with the kit and the LED turn signals - what an improvement! Anyway, being new to tech days, I want to ask - there are two tasks that I would love to tackle. One is a compression / leak test. I only have my '70s era push in compression tester and I know it's not up to the job. Is there any chance that someone at TZ Tech Day will have a screw in compression tester and a leak tester, and can mentor me through testing? The other is spline lubrication. I've had this airhead since 1984 and had the spline lube done twice at the dealer. So I know it needs it, or at least a good look. I picked up a tube of Honda M-77 in anticipation, but would love to do this job with some wiser experienced folks around. Is this too big a job to do during a tech day? Do I bring my own basic tools? Thanks all, and I hope I can attend! Thanks for the invite and looking forward to meeting folks. Can I bring anything for the group? To all - I plan on doing my first spline lube with your encouragement and wisdom. Tom Cutter is bringing the parts I'll need and I have some Honda Moly 77. What do y'all recommend for cleaning? I have MEK and acetone I could bring but wondering if I should pick up some mineral spirits or paint thinner or something else. Thanks!
