I'm truly sorry for missing meeting you. Wanted to discuss a possible Tec day at my house with camping.  I'm an hour south of the big Mac close to Da UP. Used to live in Marquette.

 I was there watching the turn signal issue. Sat just outside of the tent diagnosing from a distance. RICH told me how to replace the / 6 starter relay with a 4 pin 10 dollar auto parts relay.  The guy has 1.6 million miles on airheads and runs a private shop. I learned a lot that week and I hold a few master's licenses myself. He offered his help but too many cooks can ruin the soup. Was there from Monday to Sunday for setting up and taking down.

Did we meet at the RA rally in Petoskey? I setup the airheads central with my friends catering tent , gas grill,  and arranged for the salvation army furniture with the help of board member Gary Newby . Our last airmarshal arrived late and without the banner.

I'm glad to have a new replacement.

Coffee sometime? West Branch, Cadillac , Petoskey, Mackinaw city, St Igness ? Farther north the better. I have great lawn with shade and electric. Don't like riding south of WB and most yoopers I know believe a passport is needed to cross the Mac. North is better so our Yooper friends won't suffer from the intense traffic ? You and I could pick a date and post a meet and greet. Maybe a campout? $200 can get us a 20×40 tent on my lawn, I have plenty of room for truck and trailers containing BMWs.

The Michigan flag was hanging below the GA flag.  I rode down with another airhead from Chelsea and arrived on Thursday.  I rode a '67 R60/2 and he rode a '72 R75/5.  Took 2 lane on the way down taking two days.  No more kick start bikes :)

John's bike was at Air Central for a blinker issue.  A turn signal relay from Kat's Dash solved that problem.  Now we need to fix his intermittent starter issue.

 Admittedly, this trip was in a truck pulling a trailer because I went to T&D cycle sales in Linton Indiana. Will Thompson  812-384-6102   is having to close down the shop. I picked up lots of airhead spare parts for my 79 R100rt and 92 r100gs. He's clearing out the complete shop. New old stock in the factory package and tons of used parts. Engines, trans, final drives. Complete bike ready to ride. BMW dealership tools, lifts, new sales literature, every thing a small mom and pop had in the good old days before the bricks arrived. He ships daily. Call him soon.

Let's try to get some momentum going in MI.  We can set up some group rides, meet and greets, ride to lunches or whatever.
