Airheads at the Aerodrome is a great rally held in NY, about 2 hours north of NY City. The "Aerodrome" is Rhinebeck Aerodrome, which is an airplane museum and grass strip where they fly pre-WWII airplanes on "nice" weekend days. Attached find the flyer for the event. If you're interested in keeping up with the classes when they are announced, drop a note to kerri at maxbmw.com. On another note, I attended the screening of the North East Backcountry Discovery Route (BDR) movie last night at the Frontier Cafe in Brunswick.? It was sponsored by the BMWRSM and Street Cycles.? It looks like a great route with some much more technical riding on class IV routes.? As always, they provide alternates to those that are easier.? I'm not sure I'd be up for doing the whole thing but there are definitely parts of it in NH and VT that I'd like to explore.? It was well attended and sold out the small theater, there were probably a good 50-60 in attendance. I've just found out that the spring Northeast Airhead Swap Meet is on Saturday May 9th, the day I'd planned on our 2nd coffee and donuts meet up.? This is the new iteration of the indoor event held in Gardner in February in the past.? Check this link FMI: https://airheads.org/wair-when/1202 The event is being held at Duncan's Beemers in Maynard, about a what?? 3 hour slab ride.? If the weather looks nice, I'm considering riding but we'll cross that bridge when we burn it. I think given that this conflicts with our meet up and the fact that I want to go to the swap meet, we need to reschedule. Perhaps a fall ride. Possibly we can discuss it at the next breakfast. The Fall schedule is always pretty full. Maybe we can find another spring date.
