disk wear?

Hi Bill:

New discs are 5mm thick.  3.7mm does sound quite low for 37k miles (are you sure of the mileage?), but that is not a rule cast in concrete.

The wear limit is indeed 4 mm (Clymer is right, that is a rarity, you're in luck).

You need to replace your discs SOON. The thickness limit is intended to protect the discs from warping, cracking and or breaking under thermal stress, in particular. 

Don't forget that brakes are a safety item. In the aviation world, your aircraft would be grounded.
