I have already seen that phenomenon! The new norm; when you politely hold the door for someone who looks like a bank robber!
Excellent idea, Bill.I had been thinking along the same lines with the "bike bandana" thing. On line there are tons of options...Any particular brand or style that you recommend over others?

    Hedz,

It has now been recommended that when venturing out into public places that we wear a protective surgical mask.  Good luck buying such a thing, there ain't none.  Motorcycle gear to the rescue.  Quick, order a few, before they catch on.  Once the general public figures out that such an item can be worn every day, hand washed every night, inventory will be stripped clean.  Several years ago, I was persuaded by riding companions to wear one.  I tried it, I liked it.  I find it helps to make the helmet fit better while softening the wind rush noise.  On long rider adventure, at the B&B bivouac it gets hand washed every evening.  The Summer variant, lightweight thin nylon works best.

As for pushing a cart up and down the isle of your local Harry’s Tweeter grocery store, or the Wall Martian Mart of your choice, add a booney cap and a pair of cheap sunglasses.  Should prove to be entertaining.  Without persuasion, even the most oblivious of patron might just get out of your way.  Something us motorcyclist’s could easily grow fond of.

Funny how an appearance that could have resulted in your panic driven arrest 3 months ago, might just be the socially expected normal today.  Enough to make a mans head spin.

    Just passin’ through.

  Bill.

Disclaimer:  Barley Therapy, in the time honored Airheads tradition.  Hammering away on one’s laptop keyboard while mildly inebriated is not recommended.  What is one to do ?  The low beer warning light was flashing red.
