Herein lies the final email regarding the HGHS69 50th reunion in year 49!  There is still time to join the party.   

On September 15, I must provide the Doral Arrowwood with a final number.   Once provided, I cannot decrease the number? That?s why I am reaching out to those who initially indicated attendance but have not yet provided final confirmation and payment.   Conversely, The Doral will not guarantee additional meals above and beyond the number that I give them, although I imagine there could be a few extra for late shows.   A few alumni hope to show up during the day Saturday or Sunday for a visit (Barb Marcy, Jim Aronson)

I have attached a pdf file showing confirmed attendees and folks who have indicated probable attendance.   64 alumni responded that they could not make the date.   59 alumni with reliable email addresses did not respond at all and 61 could not be reliably located, despite use of paid search engines.   Thus, I think we did the best we could to make sure that alumni received news of the event. If you are in contact with any classmates, please let them know that there is still time to sign up!!!

One week to go for our reunion.We will have a remembrance table for all photos of classmates that are not with us.I have had several effective conversations with Rosaria Costa, and a thorough walk-through.She informed me that although our reunion spaces are next to each other we CAN NOTuse the inside hallway to mingle. We will have to mingle via the outside adjacent patio spaces.There is a up/down outside stairway that separates the two patios.-- Hope for GOOD weather...? ?? Hi Everyone!

We are one week away. Thank you for your enthusiasm!

Please remember that we welcome any last minute questions, concerns, or information you may have before you come. We have been in contact with many of you already. We have committees in place, and have been planning this for the last year and a half! 

Rob and Emily have signed all the contracts and plans for the event, and therefore they must handle all communication and requests with the event planner at Arrowwood. We are looking forward to a successful weekend.

In case you are confused, the Class of 1968 is having a separate class reunion at the same time. Class of ?68 has invited anyone who wishes to join them for dancing after dinner. The hotel will provide directions to their event room. There is also a big hotel lobby and bar for pre and post event get-togethers for members of both classes.

Thank you to: Roland Ransom for getting this reunion off the ground. Jennie Brian and Jeff Alfaro for arranging for music during dinner. Jennie is also providing name tags so we can find each other. Jan Simmermacher Adams and Lorie Nierenberg will be greeting you at dinner. Betsy Sherry is helping with any pre-dinner setup we have left to do. Ginnie Diamond is handling our ?in memoriam? display.

Directions to class of '68: Rosaria Costa (Doral Arrowood Management) informed me that?although our reunion spaces are next to each other we CAN NOT use the inside hallway to mingle.?We will have to mingle via the outside adjacent patio spaces.There is a up/down outside stairway that separates the two patios.--?

If anyone would like to supplement their weekend or could not attend and still feel part of the reunion, they can send a donation for the

and mark it as ?69 in Memory of your favorite teacher, or Principal...

Hi Everyone! We are one week away. Thank you for your enthusiasm! Please remember that we welcome any last minute questions, concerns, or information you may have before you come. We have been in contact with many of you already. We have committees in place, and have been planning this for the last year and a half! Rob and Emily have signed all the contracts and plans for the event, and therefore they must handle all communication and requests with the event planner at Arrowwood. We are looking forward to a successful weekend. In case you are confused, the Class of 1968 is having a separate class reunion at the same time. Class of ?68 has invited anyone who wishes to join them for dancing after dinner. The hotel will provide directions to their event room. There is also a big hotel lobby and bar for pre and post event get-togethers for members of both classes. Thank you to: Roland Ransom for getting this reunion off the ground. Jennie Brian and Jeff Alfaro for arranging for music during dinner. Jennie is also providing name tags so we can find each other. Jan Simmermacher Adams and Lorie Nierenberg will be greeting you at dinner. Betsy Sherry is helping with any pre-dinner setup we have left to do. Ginnie Diamond is handling our ?in memoriam? display.
