Good morning to all the group, just a quick note to all. I have changed the
time for the reservations at the wallenpaupack brewery from 5:00 pm to 3:15
pm. I think this is a better time frame for us to get back to the cliffs
and see the sunset. If we do get hungry we can get food from the ringside
bar at the end of our drive.
 The following are the guests that are spending the night Dave Behnken,
Frank Mohr,Kevin Shay, Charlie Clancy, Thomas C, Dave & Di "have a double
bed", Dan Sellers, Rick, Ryan Weisel, Todd Robertson, Micheal & Des "have a
double bed", Bob Katz, Richard Casey. NEWS FLASH! THIS JUST IN! Pat and
Deb are also coming. Pat  you and Deb got the last double bed in cabin two.
 I need to know if anyone else is planning to spend the night. Please call

After returning from a week up in VT and NH - Ive decided not to attend the weekend at Chris's at Wallenpaupak. I realize I probably havent been exposed to Covid, but figure I shouldnt risk exposing any of YOU guys to it in case I am asymptomatic.? Im sure many of you feel that its bad enough being exposed to me in my "normal" state.
I still havent ruled out riding up for the day and back on Saturday.? Thanks to Chris and Heidi for exending the invitation - the turnout looks GREAT and I know it will be a good time.

 I have LEDS all around. Makes a huge difference. Current draw isvery low and easy to start my '75 on the button, even with the headlight on.

I?ve been using LED head and taillights and Motobatt batteries for some time and I would add one consideration.  I had an original rectifier/zenor diode regulating system malfunction on my 69 A65 BSA after a ride to breakfast.  The harness melted on the positive (ground) side beginning at the rectifier and required replacement.  After speaking with a few of my friends, the belief is the voltage from the Motobatt, (standing voltage >13volts) combined with the lower draw from the LEDs overwhelmed the primitive regulating system. (I installed a new harness when I restored the bike many years ago but only recently switched to Motobatts when replacing batteries)

I installed Tympanium (or Podtronics) regulator/rectifiers on all my Brit bikes. I?ve done it on my 75 Norton as well. May not be necessary but it does give me piece of mind after nearly burning up my BSA.

Hi Dan, It's for my 56 Norton 19S, The head has five broken fins, the exhaust threads are gone, the exhaust valve broke apart and trashed the combustion area, I've since cleaned that up and it looks good, but the it's in need of new valves and guides, One set of valve springs are longer than the other, the exhaust valve seat it like 1/4" farther into the head, It actually was hitting the valve cover inside, and the keeper it trashed, It can be repaired but it's easier to find another one, I think,,,,? I know Cliff from Ace well as he visits with me when he is in the states. I'm my opinion this is not the type of project he would normally be involved in. You can ask him as he may know someone but I agree this work can most likely be done in the states saving the owner. $200 plus in shipping ?charges.

For those who missed the meeting Sunday at Riverside (curse over), people other than me expressed interest in being President next year finally. There was also an unplanned spirited ride home along the Delaware back home.  So next months meeting at Bob Katz's Garage Mahal November 15 11AM will vote for the new Pres.  I have been Pres a long time now and welcome an opportunity to actually enjoy the Gathering (weather permitting) and not discussing t-shirts.  Dan Sellers still expressed the desire to be Treasurer.  Ken Kopek was volunteered for Secretary.

People expressed interest in have meetings at members houses again including the Christmas Party.  Use your best judgement on attending indoor meetings with the COVID.  We have been pretty successful with the outdoor meetings but colder weather is coming.
