I didn't mention times so I'll have coffee brewed at 8:30 for early birds
but the kitchen opens at 9AM.
Home made corned beef hash will go fast, also have hot grilled pork roll (
taylor ham? ) bacon, eggamuffins, and maybe fresh baked blueberry muffins.

DVNR Members
I thought I would have an account of the DVNR at the Red Horse Hunt Club in Claryville New York by this time. Things happen and my plans and responsibilities always seem to slip their schedule. I WILL get it written and it will have the photos sent to me by the attendees. Webmaster Bill Dudley confirmed that a reasonable size attachment will go through the server. Keep you  eyesspeeled for it next week.

Along with the story I would have posted our next two activities, and still will, BUT I want to let everyone know the scheduled activity for Sunday the 15th is a ride to the Riverside Restaurant North of Easton on Rt. 611. We should meet at the Restaurant by 11:30 to 11:45 as seating will go fast if it is a nice day.  No plans have been made for a group ride but if you would like to get a group  from say Washington Crossing, President George or Road Captain Dave Glover would likely oblige and put a plan together.

Our meeting for Sunday August 19 is planned to be hosted by member Bob Gilfillan at his place in Landing New Jersey. I am going to figure out how to poll our group to get a number of probable attendees before this meeting so we don't repeat the mistake of May 2017. No cannons and no Jeeps but there may be a boat ride involved. If you're afraid of water this may not be for you.

Our September meeting is tentatively scheduled to be a visit to a rather large motorcycle collection, most of which will be "for sale", located in Oley Pa. We expect it to be a lunch meeting. More details will follow.

Keep next Sunday open for a club ride.

To the Norton purists, you?ll find fault. To any vintage motorcycle guys,
you?ll appreciate this.  Catch up to you guys sometime, in Cali for 2
weeks.  First shop we stopped in had these Beemers on display.  Since I
have one, I enjoy seeing them.
I am sporting the Norton hat for ya?ll though !

This Sunday we have scheduled to meet at the Riverside Barr and Grille located about 7 miles above Easton on Route 611. The street address is 5801 South Delaware Drive, Easton, PA 18040.

The weather for Sunday calls for a shower in the morning and another late in the afternoon. It won't get much better than that for motorcycle riding. There is a very good chance you will be leaving home after and possible rain and you will be home before the afternoon shower. Anyone wanting to go as a group ride should reply to our mail server: DVNR at casano.com and see if you can get a group together.

I would suggest that we get to the Riverside between 11:30 and 11:45 so we can try to get seated together.

I hope to see some members get out and support the club.

Meeting August 19th 11AM, Bob Gilfillan 34 Kingsland Road Landing,NJ 07850.Coming on Rt 206 headed North get on Rt 80 East in Netcong and get off at Exit 28,this puts you on Rt 46 East .Take the first jughandle  for Lake Hopatcong.This puts you on Rt 46 west.In about a quarter mile the road forks,46 goes left and you stay straight to Lake Hopatcong.Stay on that road ,around some curves and it brings you to a stop light ,now you are looking at LakeHopatcong.Make a Left and go aprox 200 feet and turn Right onto Kingsland Road.Continue on that road and make the first right.We are the Tan& Burgandy house with all the Motorcycles in the driveway.

Hopefully, we will get good weather for Bob?s unlike our last meeting Riverside Bar washout.
