Tomorrow morning looks like some nice riding after a long stretch of unsettled weather. Bob Trent and I will be heading to Kasey?s on the Delaware for breakfast at around 10:00 AM if anyone would like to join us there. Our breakfast discussion will focus on our IOM 2019 plans so any advise from past attendees would be appreciated.

DVNR folks...
Since Kasey's is just down the hill from me, I'm planning to splash some 
lawn-mower gas in something with 2 wheels and meet up with Ken and Bob.
Kasey's is on PA 32, River Rd, just north of Erwinna.

Looks like it may be warming up...so after breakfast and IOM plans...all are 
invited up to the house to take a swim and enjoy a cold drink.
Just bring a suit, we have plenty of towels and a changing room. I'll vacume 
out the dead frogs and chip-monks.
Anita and I have started selling off the bikes, but there are still a few 
here...

As you know, the next meeting will be held at member Bob Gilfillan's home in Landing New Jersey. Meeting is scheduled to start at 11 AM and the location is 34 Kingsland Road,Landing NJ 07850. President George emailed detailed directions on July 29. If you need another copy contact George.

While this meeting is not within the normal small circle surrounding Langhorn PA, it is not a long way to go for a ride in August. As a point of reference Landing is approximately 70 miles from Washington Crossing and there are good routes both highway and back roads. Afraid your vintage Norton is up to the task, bring a modern bike!

Since this meeting is further away and we have no way to judge the meeting attendance, a simple reply yes or no would be helpful to Bob to plan the lunch menu. From the email address that you get your DVNR email, simply reply to DVNR@ casano.com. Every member will get the reply. Lets hope it is a nice day for a ride.

It looks Like their is some possible iffy weather, So if it is not raining we have a 25' pontoon boat to take a out on the Lake and or hangout on the patio. We have an Italian lunch planned  Lasagna, meatballs, Salad, desert & Coffee. And If its Raining,  I have an HO slot car track to race on, A Pool table, And Darts and we can still hangout and EAT! Fellow DVNR Members
I missed the meeting at Bob Gilfillan's home in Landing NJ last Sunday but everything I heard indicated the event was a great success. So sorry I missed it. Bob said he would like to host again some time. Another opportunity to see his collection of toys.

Our Fall schedule has been changed somewhat because of a rescheduling of the visit to the motorcycle collection of Steve Rogers in Oley Pa.

As it stands now:

September 16 meeting will be hosted by Jack Kimble and his wife at his home in  Flemington NJ. Time is 11 AM. Jack will provide lunch in grand style. Mark you calendar. Jack in anxious to talk about Hondas. We will need to discuss where and when we will hold nominations and election of officers. It sure would be good to have suggestions for activities in 2019.

October 17 meeting will be hosted by Steve Rogers at his motorcycle collection in Oley Pa. Meeting time is planed for 11 AM. Steve and Jonna will have some lunch for us at the shop. While Steve is selling most of what he has I'm told there is still plenty left. The collection can be seen here. https://www.oldbikesandstuff.com
I hope we can get a good turnout to show support to the motorcycle community. 

November 18 meeting will be hosted by Bob Katz at his home in Glenside PA. Meeting will start at 11 AM and as always Bob will have a project(s) on the lift(s) to discuss. More details as we approach November.

December DVNR Christmas Party. Frank Mohr and Shelly have agreed to host the Christmas party at his home in Blue Bell. Date at this time is unknown but we will update you so you can mark you calendar early. 

January 2019 remains open at this time.
