The PA Airheads are doing Grimes again. Come ride on PA's rolling countryside roads and see the beautiful vintage airplanes at the museum. For those that weren't there before, there is an outdoor shower to use which is pretty convenient. There are also some other attractions nearby including a miniature town at http://roadsideamericainc.com. This is a minimalist camping spot so grab your tent and your favorite libation and come hang out with us! $55 includes Saturday night dinner and camping fees. Please don't arrive before noon on Friday. Day passes and dinner vouchers will be available for those who only want to stop in for the day too!

Subject: 1981 R100RS for sale

Hello Airheads,

I'm offering my 1981 R100RS for sale. The bike is in great condition, but
over the last two years life and work have kept me from riding enough to
justify keeping it, and this bike deserves to be with someone who will
enjoy it more regularly.

I am the third owner and bought it with 45,950 miles from Chris Kennedy in
January 2018. Chris kept the bike up well with regular services, oil and
filter changes about every 3500 miles plus continuous gearbox, final drive,
brake fluid changes etc., but I'm sad to say [UTF-8?]I???ve put just over 1000 miles
on it since then. The odometer is currently at 47,006 miles.

The bike has been garage kept, battery kept on a trickle when not in use,
and gas winterized each year. Had it out for a brief ride this weekend to
confirm it's in decent, ridable condition, though at this point it probably
needs a new set of tires and a service before taking it out for regular
riding.

The add-ons and extras make this bike. It has a number of nice upgrades
including a BMW GPSv4 with custom windshield mount, cell phone handlebar
mount, and a custom fabricated luggage rack. A comprehensive list of those

I'm flexible on price, expecting that the new owner will want to update the
tires and give it a once over before any real riding. Asking $6,500 for

Has anyone been in touch with him recently? Has he been on vacation?? Has he retired?(I hope not)? if he is still working I'd like to take my heads to him.? If you were going to mail them anyway, you could look farther afield 
like Ted Porter's Beemershop in California.    He has a great reputation 
for airhead head work.   Are you on the Airheads mailing list?    You 
could get a lot of replies there.

still want to "sink" my HF lift into the garage floor the way you have

Tom did tell me that he sends his heads to randy long. So that must mean he
is nit retired?? He also told me that he will check for warpage and machine
as needed. He had a lot of services to offer but I had to let him know that
he was exceeding my budget. Lol!  I think since he is a regular attendee of
the airheads list I don't want to ask there. I mean I did just talk to him
haha.
I plan on taking my heads to Tom in the nextra week or so. He told me 6-7
weeks out. I think when I get them back that should be a great excuse for a
tech night!  Friday nights in the garage are usually productive and
enjoyable.
I will keep you posted.

While we are on the subject of heads, does anybody have dual plugs on their
airhead?  If so. Is the added fuel mileage noticable?  Is there noticable
performance?  I'm trying to decide if I should spend the money or not. Ive
got 96000 miles without them but.......
